What Are Side Fire Fibers?
Side fire fibers are medical laser delivery fibers engineered to emit energy laterally—typically at a 70° to 90° angle—to target tissue from the side rather than forward.
This design is ideal for laser procedures performed in tight or angled anatomical regions, particularly within the urinary tract, prostate, and mucosal surfaces.
